Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality cabinetry and furniture, ensuring precision and craftsmanship in every project. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about carpentry and bespoke joinery to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Duties

Fabricate custom cabinets and furniture pieces according to detailed specifications and technical drawings
Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal
Operate a variety of woodworking machinery safely and efficiently during the fabrication process
Measure, cut, shape, and finish wood materials with precision to meet client requirements
Maintain a clean, organised workspace adhering to health and safety regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and carpentry, particularly in bespoke cabinetry or furniture making
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques essential for precise craftsmanship
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy materials
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Physical fitness suitable for standing for extended periods and manual handling tasks
Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are desirable but not essential
A proactive attitude with good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
