Paralegal – Bedford Office

Family Law Group is a leading firm of family law Solicitors with a diverse workforce spread over 13 offices, specialising in all areas of family law. If you have a passion for family law and social justice, with a strong desire to make a positive difference then we are the firm for you.

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven Paralegal with a passion for family law to join our Bedford Office. The role is to provide casework support on public law, private law and domestic abuse cases, which means that you will be actively involved at all stages of contentious litigation helping to represent parents and children who are involved in care proceedings, private law applications and family law act applications.

In return you will be joining an exceptional team and a firm that has clear values and principles in place to enable its lawyers to achieve the best possible outcomes for their clients. As well as gaining invaluable experience within a professional legal firm, you will benefit from the opportunities provided within a busy team working on a varied caseload.

Key Requirements

2:1 completed Law Degree
Family law experience is preferred
Excellent and evidenced client care skills
Self-sufficient and able to build own caseload
Creative thinker and not afraid of a challenge
The desire to help the team to grow and develop
To build strong relationships with clients and your colleagues

Salary

This is a full-time permanent position to work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

The starting salary for this position is £23,132.20.
