Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior barber to oversee the day to day management of our barbershop. With a particular focus on customer service excellence and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in hair styling or barbering, and fluency in English. This role involves managing daily activities, ensuring high standards of service delivery, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and clients. The Barber will play a pivotal role in driving organisational success and expanding the barbershop into a training academy.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of professionalism.
- Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient appointment scheduling and managing own clients via booking app timescales ect
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the salon environment.
- Handle client enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and tact.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote services and attract new clients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service roles within the barbering industry.
- Demonstrable expertise in hair styling and all barbering techniques.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Organised with excellent organisational skills to oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- A recognised qualification in hairdressing or barbering is preferred but not essential if complemented by substantial industry experience.
