Job Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team who has used CCH. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of accounting principles and experience working with various accounting software. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting our financial team to ensure smooth operations. Flexibility and strong organisational skills are essential for this position, which offers the opportunity to work in a professional environment with a focus on precision and efficiency.

Duties

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as CCH
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly entered and up-to-date
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies
Collaborate with external accountants or auditors during financial reviews or audits

Skills

Proven experience working with accounting software such as CCH
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounts payable processes
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
Familiarity with financial regulations relevant to the UK is desirable but not essential
