Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Part-time,

16 hours per week, potentially more,

Flexible working, maximum 5 over 7, predominantly Mon – Fr 0930-1400

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a receptionist to join the Ulster Reform Club in Belfast. The Ulster Reform Club, established in 1885, is an exclusive private members club in the heart of Belfast City Centre.

We pride ourselves on Hospitality, Conviviality & Individuality, offering a bespoke and high-quality food and beverage service to our members. This is an ideal venue for a wide range of private member-only conferences, banqueting and celebrations as well as a busy local food and beverage operation in our Members Dining Room.

With a focus on growth and further development of the daily Operations at the Ulster Reform Club we are looking for a confident team member to support day-to-day helping to deal with daily member queries and bookings.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about service, has attention to detail and enjoys delivering consistent first-class customer experience.

What will I be doing?

This position will play an integral role in day-to-day operations.

You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

· Answering telephones,

· Dealing with member enquiries and bookings, face-to-face, telephone and via email,

· Supporting the Member Relations Manager with admin duties,

· Supporting the F&B Manager with event planning admin,

· Provide the highest levels of service to Members and their guests.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate for the Receptionist role will have:

· Held a similar role in Reception or F&B role previously.

· 4- or 5-star experience, in either hotels, events or hospitality setting.

· Understanding of Food & Beverage service.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office,

· Knowledge & experience of first-class service delivery.

· Attention to detail.

· Passion for delivering exceptional levels of service.

What we are offering

This is a part-time position, of c.16 hours per week working maximum 5 days out of 7, that will be based on the operational requirements of the Club.

We are offering a competitive salary of £13.50 per hour.

In addition, Staff Fund payment (gratuities) which will be paid as a bonus in December and January

You will receive a total of 30 days annual leave per year, pro-rata, with our holiday year running from April 1st to March 31st.

Currently, c.15 days per year are customary closures, these include Public Holidays as well as Christmas closures from the evening of Christmas Eve until early January.
