Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and possess strong customer service skills. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various environments, including hotels and other facilities. The Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept tidy, organised, and welcoming for guests and staff alike.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to the highest standards.
Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues to management.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel environments is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Physically fit with the capability to perform manual handling tasks as required.
