Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to oversee access control and maintain safety at our premises. The ideal candidate will ensure a secure environment for all visitors and staff, employing excellent judgement and communication skills. This role offers an engaging opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, prioritising safety, security, and customer service.

Duties

Monitor entry and exit points to verify authorised access using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment
Conduct thorough checks of individuals entering the premises, ensuring compliance with security protocols
Maintain vigilance for any suspicious behaviour or potential threats, intervening when necessary
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft or unauthorised activities within the venue
Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid assistance when required
Record incidents accurately and report any security concerns to management
Enforce venue policies in a courteous yet firm manner, ensuring a safe environment for all attendees
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address security vulnerabilities

Skills

Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is desirable
Familiarity with CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while managing difficult situations effectively
Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting and interaction with visitors and colleagues
Valid first aid certification is preferred but not essential; training can be provided if necessary
Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and conduct patrols around the venue
