JOB SPECIFICATION

Reports to: Regional Support Manager

Contract: Permanent

Based: Glasgow

Shift: 42 hours per week (4 on 4 off)

A valid SIA License is essential for this role. You must also have a valid Driver’s License as you will be required to drive a company vehicle as part of your role.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Control Room Operator, you will be carrying out various tasks for two key functions in the business. Your role will primarily be focused on the admin, control, and support of manned guarding activities. You will also be involved in CCTV monitoring, providing a fast and effective response to alarm activations or incidents, and implementing client escalation procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide operational support across all manned guarding services, including officer scheduling, incident reporting, mobile patrols, and keyholding requests
Carry out compliance, welfare, and check calls, ensuring all audit trails and trackers are accurately maintained
Respond to all communications promptly, ensuring relevant parties are kept fully informed
Proactively escalate issues during shifts to ensure timely resolution, recording details in the control room handover
Attend sites when required using a company vehicle
