Teacher of Performing Arts (Music Specialism)

Teach South Kent are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in East Sussex to recruit an experienced Teacher of Performing Arts with a music specialism.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and engaging educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have strong classroom experience within a secondary school setting and a particular strength in music, although experience across wider performing arts disciplines would be advantageous.
The school is open to applications from both qualified teachers and experienced unqualified candidates who can demonstrate successful secondary school teaching experience.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging Performing Arts lessons, with a focus on Music
- Plan and deliver creative, inclusive, and differentiated lessons
- Support students in developing confidence, performance skills, and creativity
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience teaching within a secondary school environment
- Strong subject knowledge in Music
- A passion for Performing Arts education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to motivate and inspire young people
