Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Skin & Laser Therapist to join our team.
Job Overview
We are looking for a confident, professional, and client-focused therapist with experience in skin and laser treatments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for aesthetics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
This is a self-employed, commission-based role with the opportunity to progress into a permanent employed position for the right candidate.
Training and development will be provided on selected treatments and advanced technologies used within the clinic.
Duties and Responsibilities
Treatment Delivery
- Perform Laser Hair Removal treatments safely and effectively
- Carry out advanced facials and skin treatments
- Perform chemical peels and microneedling treatments
- Deliver skin consultations and treatment planning
- Recommend suitable skincare products and treatment packages
- Provide excellent client care throughout the treatment journey
Advanced Treatments (Training Provided Where Required)
- Radiofrequency Microneedling
- CO2 Laser Treatments
- Advanced Laser Procedures
- Other skin rejuvenation treatments
Clinic Operations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the clinic
- Prepare and sanitise treatment rooms before and after treatments
- Follow infection control and health and safety procedures
- Conduct stock checks and assist with inventory management
- Complete treatment records, consultation forms, and client documentation accurately
- Assist with general administrative duties and clinic paperwork
Business Development
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Promote treatments and skincare products where appropriate
- Support the clinic’s marketing activities
- Assist with social media content creation and promotion
- Contribute to client retention and business growth
Essential Requirements
- Level 4 Beauty Therapy qualification (minimum)
- Experience performing Laser Hair Removal treatments
- Strong knowledge of skin health and skincare treatments
- Previous consultation experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and manner
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Microneedling experience
- Chemical Peel experience
- Radiofrequency Microneedling experience
- CO2 Laser experience
- Massage therapy experience
- Experience working within an aesthetics or skin clinic
- Social media and marketing experience
- Additional laser qualifications
