Your responsibilities
- Build and maintain crucial supplier relationships, negotiating optimal prices and terms.

Review customer order book and expedite supplier purchase orders to ensure sales orders are shipped on time.

Expedite with suppliers when required and communicate all potential issues to internal customers/stakeholders.

Ensure all purchase orders raised reflect demand and forecasted requirements against agreed stock levels and order quantities using lean Plan For Every Part (PFEP) techniques.

Ensure efficient inventory control with accurate forecasting and timely ordering.

Confirm purchase order and maintain vendor promise dates in the electronic system so that sales order dates are maintained to latest promise.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Good commercial awareness and an interest in procurement and supply chain management.

A proactive and organised approach, with strong attention to detail.

The ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
