EXPERIENCED BENCH JOINER / CABINET MAKER
Location: Wooburn Green, Buckinghamshire HP10
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience

Fable & Wood is a luxury bespoke joinery and cabinetry company specialising in high-end residential interiors throughout Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey and London.
We design, manufacture and install exceptional bespoke kitchens, dressing rooms, boot rooms, studies, media walls, bars, wine rooms and whole-house joinery packages for some of the finest private homes in the South East.
Due to a growing order book, we are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join our workshop team.
The Role
You will be involved in the manufacture of bespoke residential joinery projects from concept through to installation.
Projects include:
- Bespoke kitchens
- Utility and boot rooms
- Dressing rooms and wardrobes
- Home offices and libraries
- Media walls
- Wine rooms and bars
- Luxury fitted furniture
- Architectural joinery
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture high-quality bespoke cabinetry and furniture from technical drawings
- Work with veneers, solid timber, laminates and specialist finishes
- Assemble and prepare bespoke joinery to the highest standard
- Operate workshop machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist with installation where required
- Maintain exceptional quality standards throughout production
- Work closely with our design and production team to deliver outstanding projects
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in bespoke joinery or cabinet making
- Strong bench joinery skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience manufacturing luxury fitted furniture and cabinetry
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Positive attitude and pride in workmanship
Desirable
- CNC operating experience
- Cabinet Vision knowledge
- Experience with luxury residential projects
- Installation experience
- Veneering and specialist finishing experience
