Pay
Up to £14.57 per hour
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Controlled Space team, you will:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Carry out pre-event and venue safety checks
- Manage the safe and efficient flow of people entering venues and events
- Monitor crowds and identify potential overcrowding or safety concerns
- Provide information and assistance to members of the public
- Respond professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
- Raise alarms when required and assist emergency services as appropriate
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Have a professional and flexible approach to work
- Be willing to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and at short notice when required
- Have a strong command of spoken and written English
- Be confident handling challenging situations while remaining calm and professional
- Take pride in your appearance and personal presentation
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be able to provide a full 5-year checkable employment and education history in accordance with BS7858 screening requirements
