Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year (depending on experience)

The Best Solutions Hull Ltd is a family-owned haulage company operating a fleet of 30+ vehicles across container, trailer and general haulage operations throughout the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Transport Planner to join our team.
This role would suit an ambitious planner looking to take the next step in their career, with the opportunity to develop into a Transport Manager position in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and managing daily movements across a mixed fleet of vehicles
- Coordinating container and trailer operations from Hull, Immingham and Killingholme
- Managing driver utilisation and vehicle efficiency
- Liaising with customers, drivers and subcontractors
- Problem solving and reacting to operational changes throughout the day
- Assisting with the development and improvement of transport processes
- Supporting compliance and operational performance
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' transport planning experience
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced transport environment
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK road network
- Experience working within general haulage, container haulage or trailer operations preferred
- Transport Manager CPC preferred but not essential
Package
- £35,000 - £45,000 per year depending on experience
- One day per week working from home following successful probation and training
