Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Coordinator to join Humber Galvanizing Ltd at our Hull site on an initial 2-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of a permanent position thereafter.
We are part of Wedge Group Galvanizing, a successful family-owned business offering secure employment to its employees for over 150 years. We have 15 sites nationwide and apply corrosion protection to all the steel you regularly see around you such as street furniture, lampposts, bridge beams and even football stadiums through our galvanizing process.

What’s the role?
As a Sales Coordinator your main responsibilities include:
- Preparing customer quotations accurately and efficiently.
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the sales team.
- Maintaining and updating customer records within the CRM system.
- Responding promptly to customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Attending customer visits.
- Building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Following up on quotations and customer requests.
- Liaising with internal departments to support customer order processing.
Who would suit this role?
We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual who can work both independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
You will be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Previous experience in a sales support, sales administration, or coordinator role would be advantageous.
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office is preferred.
