Genix Bridlington Dental Practice

Please note this position will involve some late evening working and possibly also some weekend working down the line.

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and ensure a positive first impression.
Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling patient appointments.
Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries effectively.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day.
Keep the reception area tidy and organised to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using office software and equipment; familiarity with dental software is an advantage.
Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated.
A keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism.
