We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our finance team and support our Financial Controller, based in our office at Holmes Hill Estate, BN8 6JA
This is an office based full time role of 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday
You will gain practical exposure in financial processing and credit control within a fast-paced business operating in a multi-currency environment and shipping worldwide. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing sales and purchase invoices within Microsoft Business Central ERP.
- Managing and controlling the UK accounts email inbox
- Credit control and customer account follow-ups
- Processing and allocating customer receipts (multi-currency)
- Checking and verifying financial documentation
- Creating and maintaining customer and supplier accounts
- Requesting and issuing invoices
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Chasing overdue customer payments
- Providing support with VAT related tasks
- Supporting financial reporting activities
- Maintaining accurate digital filing systems
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team
Requirements
- Minimum AAT/ICB/IAT Level 2 or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Microsoft Business Central accounting software
- Experience with imports and exports.
- Experience with multi- currencies
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable.
