We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee our team who draft client payrolls as well as undertaking preparation themselves. If the candidates payroll experience is significant but does not wish to manage a team, they may still be considered.
The successful candidate is dependable, organised and reliable and can work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Organise the workflow of payroll team members
- Ensure deadlines are met
- Assist with queries from team members
- Prepare payroll for a number of clients
- Be familiar with the proper use of payroll software
- Be an active part of our internal admin team undertaking a variety of roles important to the running of our business
Although on the job training will be provided to engage you to assist you in your responsibilities, this job does not currently offer college based training.
To be considered for the role you must have strong organisational skills. You must possess the following key skills:
- Good IT skills and confidence
- Have an ability to learn quickly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well within a team
- Good attention to detail
It is essential to have had significant payroll experience in previous roles.
This position will be working full time in the office based in Eastbourne.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
