Overview:

For the Supply Chain department we are looking for an Procurement & Supply Chain Assistant who will join our UK team. The Role will be office based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire or working remotely, but some visits to the office will be required. Did you finish school or have you already gained some work experience as an Operational Purchaser? Then take a look below at what the position entails. Reporting directly to the local UK SC lead.

Responsibilities:

Raise PRP (project requisition planning) orders for materials
Managing the stock levels of the various article groups
Raise PRP (project requisition planning) orders for racks
Control hire equipment
PPE ordering
Indirect (Non project) orders
Management of cylinders
Planning transport (inbound) PARTS
Arrange local transport (outbound)
Total Logistic Costs reporting
Back-up for SC country lead

Qualifications:

Education, knowledge and expierence:

Educated to at least A level preferred
Experience with an ERP (BAAN) system or willingness to learn it;
You are professional, cost-conscious and commercial in your dealings.
You are results-oriented, representative, have perseverance and are eager to learn;
You also have good communication skills, have persuasive powers, keep an overview and are stress-resistant.
