Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse Trainee/Qualified to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support within our dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dentist during procedures, ensure the smooth operation of the clinic, and maintain a welcoming environment for patients. Strong organisational skills and effective communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Ensure that all dental equipment is cleaned, sterilised, and maintained according to health and safety standards.
Manage appointment schedules, including booking new patients and following up on treatment plans.
Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues in English to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans and procedures.
Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment scheduling, and other administrative tasks as required.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; we welcome applications from individuals eager to learn.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is advantageous.
