Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Builders Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves supporting various building projects through hands-on assistance, ensuring the smooth progression of site activities. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn new skills within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with general site tasks such as clearing debris, preparing sites, and moving materials
- Supporting skilled tradespeople including carpenters, roofers, plumbers, and masons
- Handling hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assisting with basic carpentry, roofing, painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and fabrication tasks as required
- Ensuring the work area remains clean and organised throughout the project
- Following health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction essential.
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills across various trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and fabrication
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A valid UK driving licence is mandatory

Pay: £120.00-£140.00 per day
