Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our clients premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through effective surveillance, loss prevention, and excellent customer service. This role is vital in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons and staff.
This role is for a holiday park so accommodation is available through out client but there is a cost of £350 per month for this.
Duties
- Monitor entry and exit points to verify identification and manage access control
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorised access or disruptive behaviour
- Assist with loss prevention by identifying suspicious activities and intervening when necessary
- Provide first aid assistance in emergency situations until professional help arrives
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential incidents and ensure the safety of all individuals on site
- Record detailed incident reports accurately and promptly as required using the Specialist SRT staff portal.
- Collaborate with other security personnel and management to uphold safety standards
Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence is essential
- Valid first aid certification is essential
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats or suspicious behaviour
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and respond swiftly when needed
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required
- Driving Licence and transport is Preferred
