Key Tasks
― Plan and deliver exciting lessons supporting learner progression, that relate to their needs and
interests
― Promote safety, wellbeing and safeguarding (CPOMS)
― Record attendance and academic notes on Arbor MIS
― Track learner progression on the allocated Google Sheets
― Develop innovative opportunities for interdepartmental and intradepartmental project collaborations
― Use a range of assessment methods and provide outstanding and prompt feedback to inspire
learners
― Complete learner one-to-one tutorials and individual learning plans on a bi-termly basis
― Facilitate the wide-range of enrichment trips and guest speaker events arranged across the year
― Work towards a stable learner retention and qualification achievement rate
― Undertake in-house training to remain up-to-date with awarding body expectations
― Support learners to prepare for their assessed end-of-year project

― Outstanding teaching and communication skills
― Experience of leading groups of learners in educational settings
― Assertive and self-confident in management of the learning environment
― Positive, solution-focused and proactive when managing and responding to data
― Experience of working in the creative industries using an entrepreneurial approach
― Experience of working professionally in performing arts
― Extremely organised and able to manage own workload effectively and flexibly
― Highly motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive and rewarding environment
― Kind, empathic and supportive but challenging when needed
― Committed and willing to “go the extra mile” to meet targets
― Ambitious – will not settle for less than outstanding standards of work and behaviour
