EQUANS are looking for a CAD Operator working for our EQUANS North West & Central contract in Liverpool. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Two years’ professional experience using AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of drafting standards and best practices.
- Experience with creating and managing parametric blocks is preferred.
- Familiarity with Revit, BIM 360, and Navisworks is highly advantageous.
- Autodesk certification in AutoCAD and Revit is preferred
- Ideally experienced in Bolster to record compliance, although training will be given.
General Overview
- The Auto CAD Operator will perform a variety of minor design/drafting/space planning, room moves and minor building works.
- Establishing guidelines and procedures for CAD data management.
- Establish filing guidelines for drawings to maintain up-to-date drawings.
- Survey and update of existing ‘as built’ drawings
- Preparing/updating/validating installation drawings for small projects and variations
- Revision and update of existing drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with Lifecycle and Capital delivery team to ensure consistent documentation of the projects.
- Convert drawings to DWG format.
- Upload and maintain Bolster system.
- Ensure documentation is held for all aspects of the O&M manuals
- Update and maintain electronic filing systems.
- Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation (such as drawings, bill of materials, list of design parameters, and performance guarantees) for future reference.
- Review and modify information with supervision by the Project and Planning Managers (both Equans and Client side).
- Maintain and update Asset database to ensure accurate asset details are maintained
