About Isabella's Homes:
Isabella's Homes is a growing supported living organisation committed to providing exceptional care and support across multiple locations to individuals with complex needs. We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead our HR function, managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This role offers the opportunity to shape our HR operations, develop a People Plan, and ensure smooth office operations across our branches.

Role Overview:
As the HR Operations Manager, you will work closely with senior management to implement a strategic HR vision for Isabella’s Homes while managing day-to-day HR operations. You’ll be responsible for recruitment, performance management, and ensuring HR compliance, creating a positive workplace culture across our supported living services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Recruitment and Onboarding
- Collaborate with the Head of Operations and department heads to assess staffing needs.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job posting to onboarding, including IT setups and induction support through Bright HR.
- Conduct initial interviews and oversee the selection process with department heads.

Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries and concerns, promoting a supportive work culture.
- Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, working to foster a positive and inclusive environment.
- Provide guidance on employee relations and liaise with leadership to identify and manage business risks.

Performance Management
- Lead performance appraisal processes in collaboration with management.
- Advise managers on performance matters and support employees in meeting their goals.

Training and Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate programs with departmental support.
- Encourage ongoing professional growth and continuous learning within the team.

HR Policies and Compliance
- Develop and update HR policies to align with employment laws.
- Monitor changes in legislation and ensure Isabella’s Homes remains fully compliant.

Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance and pension plans, while educating employees on available benefits and answering related questions.

Employee Engagement
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct employee surveys, gathering insights and developing action plans with line managers to improve engagement across locations.

Office Operations
- Oversee office-related tasks, such as ordering supplies, managing company car records, and handling utilities for multiple branches.
- Provide administrative support for the HR department, including managing office utilities and parking fines.

Administrative Support
- Support the Head of Operations and marketing team with various tasks, including event coordination, community outreach, and brand awareness initiatives.
- Oversee onboarding processes, including setting up IT access and updating the website with new staff bios.
- Manage company expenses, IT issues, and other ad hoc operational requests from senior leadership.

Essential Requirements
-Experience:** Minimum 4+ years in a generalist HR role, ideally standalone.
- Knowledge:** Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software.
- Organisation: Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- CIPD: Working towards CIPD qualification is desirable.
