We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Cashier / Stocker to join our team in Birmingham. Whether you're serving customers with a smile at the till or making sure shelves are perfectly stocked and the store looks its best, you'll be a key part of keeping things running smoothly.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, takes pride in a well-presented store, and genuinely likes helping people.
Tasks include:
- Operating the till and processing customer transactions accurately
- Handling cash, card, and contactless payments
- Receiving deliveries and checking stock against orders
- Replenishing shelves and rotating stock in line with display standards
- Keeping the shop floor clean, tidy, and well-organised
- Assisting customers with queries and directing them to products
- Supporting with stock counts and inventory checks
- Helping with opening or closing duties as required
What We're Looking For
- Are dependable, punctual, and take pride in your work
- Have good communication skills and a friendly manner with customers
- Can stay on your feet throughout a shift and handle a fast-paced environment
- Are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Have basic numeracy skills and confidence handling payments
- Are available Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional weekends
Schedule & Hours
- Core hours: Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekends: Required on a rota basis (discussed at interview)
- Full-time and part-time hours considered
