Role Overview
Custoris is seeking its first Business Development Executive — a commercially driven leader who can build and execute a growth strategy across all three divisions of the group: Custoris Labs (SaaS governance platform), Custoris Consult (advisory and research services to healthcare providers and educational institutions and individuals), and Custoris Academy (CPD-accredited compliance training).
This is a foundational senior hire. You will not inherit a commercial function , you will build it. Reporting directly to the directors, you will develop pipelines, close partnerships, lead on procurement submissions, and represent Custoris in front of NHS commissioners, local authorities, and relevant sector buyers.
The role demands credibility in four areas simultaneously: commercial development, technology, education and health and social care governance. If you understand how commissioners and care providers think, how SaaS scales, and why the CQC Single Assessment Framework or the proposed new sector aligned framework matters — this role was designed for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the commercial growth strategy across all three Custoris divisions, with clear targets and timelines agreed with the directors
- Identify, target, and close new partnerships with NHS commissioners, local authorities, independent care providers and own marketing and CRM pipelines.
- Build and manage a structured B2B sales pipeline for custoris labs and Survelix platform, from lead generation through to signed contracts.
- Establish referral pathways and contract officers relationships to support Custoris Consult and Custoris academy growth in Coventry and neighbouring areas.
- Drive learner enrollment growth for Custoris Academy through employer partnerships, Skills for Care channels, and direct-to-provider engagement
- Represent Custoris at sector conferences, procurement panels, and industry events
- Lead the preparation of tender documents, commercial proposals, and grant applications
- Produce monthly pipeline and market intelligence reports for the directors.
- Identify and develop strategic alliance opportunities that amplify the group's reach and credibility.
- Contribute to investor-facing materials and commercial narrative as the group scales
