Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bench Joiner to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and finishing high-quality wooden windows and doors. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your craftsmanship skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to bespoke projects and large-scale production. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in bench joinery. This paid position is suitable for individuals committed to precision, safety, and craftsmanship.

Duties

Fabricate wooden components according to detailed drawings and specifications
Assemble joinery products with precision and care
Operate hand tools and machinery
opportunities to advance further
Use power tools including drills, sanders, and saws safely to complete tasks
Perform finishing work such as sanding, assembly and putting joinery back together once painted
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, or carpentry roles, ideally within joinery or woodworking industries
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Strong understanding of joinery techniques
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Physical fitness for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks throughout the working day
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are desirable but not mandatory

This position is fully paid and offers an engaging environment where craftsmanship skills are valued. Pay: From £14.00 per hour
