As part of the wider Capital Tuition Group network, we work alongside over 100 schools and educational organisations, providing specialist support through qualified teachers, intervention programmes, alternative provision, online learning, face-to-face tuition, SEND support, and bespoke educational solutions.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a proactive and ambitious Business Development & Partnerships Executive to help us expand our network and create new partnership opportunities.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who enjoys building relationships, speaking with people, and creating opportunities.
You will be responsible for identifying potential organisations, making outbound contact, nurturing relationships, arranging meetings, and helping develop new business opportunities across the education sector.
The role focuses heavily on relationship-building rather than hard sales.
Potential organisations may include:
- Schools and Multi-Academy Trusts
- Local Authorities and Virtual Schools
- Alternative Provision Providers
- Football Academies and Sports Organisations
- Recruitment Agencies
- Community Organisations and Charities
- Other Educational Service Providers
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential partnership opportunities
- Contact organisations via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Build relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders
- Arrange meetings and discovery calls
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and opportunities
- Follow up enquiries and nurture prospective partners
- Represent Capital Tuition Group Birmingham professionally at all times
- Work closely with the Director to develop new business opportunities
- Assist with partnership proposals and introductions where required
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence speaking with senior professionals and decision-makers
- Strong organisational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Professional and personable approach
- Comfortable using email, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems
Desirable:
- Experience in business development, recruitment, sales, account management, education, or partnership building
- Experience working with schools, councils, academies, or educational organisations
- Existing professional network within education or local government
