Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Pharmacist to join our Company across two stores in the West Midlands (Great Barr and Dudley) . The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical services, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the pharmacy operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your clinical skills within a dynamic healthcare environment, contributing to patient care and medication management.

Duties

Providing advice and information on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment plans
Monitoring patient medication regimes.
Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and maintaining detailed records
Assisting with inventory management and stock control of pharmaceuticals
Supporting patient care initiatives by offering counselling and health advice as appropriate
Participating in medication administration procedures under supervision when necessary
Checking of MDS blister packs

Requirements

Fully qualified Pharmacist registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or relevant regulatory body
Proven experience
Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive patient care and medication management
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative communication with healthcare teams
Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts and work schedules as required for locum assignments
Rates and hours will be discussed upon successful interview.
