We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Specialist Eating Disorders Nurse Practitioner to join our Day Support Programme. We are seeking a caring and compassionate practitioner who is innovative, creative, flexible, and highly motivated to contribute to the delivery of high-quality care within our specialist service.
The Day Support Programme is a well-established, dynamic, multidisciplinary outpatient service providing a comprehensive programme of meal support and psychoeducational groups for adults with Anorexia Nervosa. Grounded in a philosophy of self-directed recovery, the programme supports individuals to build meaningful and fulfilling lives beyond their eating disorder. We work collaboratively and flexibly with service users, their families, and wider support networks.
Please note this role requires a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
This vacancy is part time 30 hours per week.

Main duties, tasks & skills required
The successful applicant will play a key role within our multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of evidence-based interventions to service users and their carers. You will provide expert mental health advice, underpinned by a strong understanding of behaviour change principles, to support individuals across Hampshire in making and sustaining health-related changes.
Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality, evidence-based care; developing and implementing risk management and care plans; facilitating and evaluating therapeutic group interventions; providing specialist advice; supporting service users during mealtimes; undertaking case management and key worker responsibilities; and supervising and supporting team members.
The Day Support Programme currently operates Monday to Friday, with staff working varying shifts between 08:30 and 19:30. These hours may be subject to change in line with service needs.
