Student Voice & Communities Manager

Contract Type : Permanent

Location: Swansea (Singleton Park and Bay Campus)

Annual Salary for this Post: £26,707 (Grade 5 Point 16)

Contracted Hours: 35 Per Week (Monday to Friday)

Summary

The Student Voice & Communities Manager will lead the Student Communities Team and oversee the Union’s activities within the key areas of student groups, democracy and representation (sports clubs, societies and student reps).

The post holder shall provide day to day management and decision making and ensure a strong focus on achieving team and organisation wide strategic objectives which provide a lasting impact to the student community. This position also supports the Union Full and Part Time Officers with their roles in representing the student body.

The successful candidate will preferably have at least two years' experience within a student engagement role as well as relevant management experience of leading successful teams.

This post requires the post holder to be on site on a day-to-day basis.
