Bring your mobile plant skills and, if you have it, recycling industry experience. You’ll be working in a dusty operational environment, using a high‑pressure air lance to clean machinery.

About the Role

Location: Ellington Road, Ashington NE63 9XS

Salary: £13.39 per Hour
Working 45 Hours per week
Working Pattern: 2x Shift Pattern Rotating each week
Shift 1 - 07:00 am to 16:00 pm
Shift 2 - 09:00 am to 18:00 pm
Full PPE provided

What will I be doing?

Maintaining accurate records for the removal of material from the site and of all activities on the site.
Controlling the exchange of containers, by booking loads with the relevant person thus ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
Maintaining a clean and tidy site.
Ensuring that within his/her areas of responsibility, SUEZ R & R complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by his/her actions or omissions
Co-operating with SUEZ R & R and with other employees in order to comply with site permit, all applicable legislation and SUEZ R & R Policies and Procedures
Undertaking first aider duties and fire warden duties on site
Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role

What are the requirements?

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to obtain a full working understanding of the site licence / permit and who will work to ensure site operations exceed the standards required.

The role will require:

A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake personal development to obtain skills for waste acceptance, operation and maintenance of site equipment.
Having basic administration skills for the recording of data on SUEZ R & R UK’s reporting systems will also be advantageous.
Comply everywhere and in all circumstances with the laws and regulations connected with their activities.
Comply with our obligations to our partners such as shareholders, associates, clients, suppliers and the community.
