Full job description

We're looking to expand our team! Techtron are a chemical manufacturer specialising in the blending and filling of water based household, petcare and automotive products supplying to e-commerce, retail and professional markets.

You'll be part of a small team, rotating through three key activities within the blending department - chemical dispensing, chemical mixing and chemical warehousing.

The role will entail:

Safe loading and unloading of hazardous substances
Booking in of deliveries onto the stock system
Segregation and warehousing of chemical products
Working to a picking list to select materials and take to the dispensary
Weighing out materials in accordance with a picking list
Blending materials together in PLC controlled vessels
Assist with maintaining good housekeeping and a safe working environment

To be considered for this role you must be an experienced FLT driver on both a counterbalance and REACH truck and have extensive warehousing experience. There is a requirement within this role for manual handling of powder sacks up to 25kg. You must have good attention to detail, be hardworking and be able to work safely in a controlled environment. This role works as part of a team and therefore good, effective communication is required. You should be computer literate - Techtron currently operates using SAGE Manufacturing 200 - experience of this software would be advantageous but is not essential.

COVID-19 considerations:
Social distancing measures are in place. Limited employees work within this space. alcohol hand gel is provided FOC. Face coverings are required to be worn at all times. A full risk assessment of the work activities has been completed

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
