Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, C.W. Sellors Group Ltd is one of Britain’s most distinguished independent jewellery and watch retailers. With over four decades of heritage, we operate six boutiques across the Midlands and Peak District alongside three ecommerce platforms (C.W. Sellors, Jura Watches, and W.Hamond) and our own jewellery-making and gemstone-cutting workshops at our Ashbourne head office.
We are proud specialists in fine jewellery, luxury watches and rare British gemstones, including Blue John and Whitby Jet.
Having recently emerged from a period of administration under a new ownership and management structure, we are rebuilding our ecommerce operations with pace and purpose. This is a genuine opportunity to join us at a pivotal moment and shape the digital future of a brand with real heritage and real ambition.
Job Summary
This is a hands-on, ownership-level role for an ecommerce professional who combines strategic understanding with genuine willingness to do the work themselves. We are not in a position to build out a large team or outsource development tasks just yet, so the right candidate will be comfortable operating as a capable individual contributor whilst setting the direction for the function.
You will take full ownership of the day-to-day management, performance and improvement of our three ecommerce platforms, from technical SEO remediation and catalogue cleansing to conversion rate improvements and content development.
This role sits at the centre of our commercial recovery and growth agenda. Done well, it has the scope to grow significantly.
