Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Administrator to join our team, responsible for performing and overseeing daily warehouse operations and administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual with experience in warehouse operations, materials handling, and administrative support. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and accurate record-keeping within our facility.

Duties

Manage stock levels through accurate stocking, picking, and packing activities
Utilise warehouse management systems such as SWORDS for inventory tracking, order processing and all other administrative tasks required.
Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including the picking, loading and unloading goods from lorries
Maintain organisation of materials handling areas to optimise workflow
Assist with other Warehouse administration duties as needed during the shift
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all warehouse activities
Support administrative functions such as data entry, documentation, and reporting related to inventory and shipments

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse operations or management
Proficiency with warehouse management systems, particularly AS400
Valid forklift licence and experience operating forklifts safely
Strong knowledge of materials handling, stock control, and shipping & receiving procedures
Mechanical knowledge or experience with construction-related equipment is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Experience with picking & packing processes and load & unload operations
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and inventory management
Prior warehouse experience is essential for understanding the demands of the role
