- Join Our Busy Workshop Team -
We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Prep Technician to join our dynamic workshop team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing and repairs to the highest standards while working in a fast paced environment.
As a Vehicle Prep Technician, you will:
- Perform diagnostics, servicing, and a wide range of repairs on our stock vehicles and customer vehicles ready for sale.
- Apply technical expertise to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective repairs.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with both customers and colleagues.
- Accurately complete service and repair records in line with company policies and best practices.
- Carefully analyse work job cards to assess vehicle conditions, confirm diagnoses, and ensure agreed-upon repairs are carried out effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- A team player with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred.
- Honest, diligent, and detail-oriented with a systematic approach to work.
- Flexible with timekeeping and adaptable to workshop demands.
- A full and valid UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in vehicle diagnostics.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and functionalities.
- MOT NT (advantageous but not essential).
- Experience working with prestige vehicles (advantageous but not essential).
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate: £14.50 - £16.50 per hour (dependent on experience).
