Thesuccessful candidate will be the campus point of contact responsible for alltechnical service delivery on behalf of CBRE GWS. They will be responsible forthe effective execution of control processes around maintenance work (planned,corrective and reactive). Providepersonal leadership and effective management for a wide range of hardengineering services and ensure compliance with Statutory law, CBRE GWS andMars UK quality procedures, while also supporting external and internal auditsfrom a Technical Compliance perspective as required.
Role Summary:
- EnsureMars UK Waltham’s services are delivered in compliance with legislative, clientand CBRE health, safety and environmental programmes
- Actas the Hard Services point of contact for all in / out of scope technicalactivities and provide technical support across a wide spectrum of industrialtechnical services, to the CBRE team and client.
- Carryout the assessment and authorisation of technicians on the contract for noncomplex low voltage as and when required determined by new starters or timeserved refresher training.
- Managea small team of technicians to deliver Hard services utilising CBRE employedresource (self-perform). Be a driver in maximising the volume of work that isself-performed.
- Managespecialist subcontractors where required, ensuring work is carried out incompliance with legislative, client and CBRE health, safety and environmentalprogrammes
- Bethe Maintenance Excellence Champion for the campus, driving continuousimprovement in technical service delivery wherever possible
- Assistin providing solutions and associated quotations for small project works thatfall within a Technical/Specialist remit.
- Identifypotential business opportunities for increased scope and additional services.
- Managethe technical service delivery across the campus
- Assistin conducting incident reviews and Root Cause Analysis, Site Stand Downs anddrive consequence Management for all incidents in conjunction with the QHSEteam.
- ManageLife Cycle Assessment and Capital Planning Process working closely with theaccount management team and Global Asset Management Director.
- Undertaketechnical assessments for new change control requests, in line with Mars UKEngineering requirements
- Managethe asset registration process into site CMMS systems, along with the updatingand maintenance and operation of the Waltham CMMS system
- Bethe go-to assessor for training requirements for newly installed assets.
Qualifications / CompetenciesRequired:
- EngineeringApprenticeship
- RecognisedLevel 3 Qualification in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or similar
- QualifiedApproved Electrician or Mechanical engineer with appropriate qualifications
- RecognisedWater/Legionella Management qualification
- Strongknowledge of Health & Safety compliance with a recognised H&Squalification
- BuildingManagement Systems experience
