We’re now looking for 2 experienced Transport Coordinators to join our busy Spalding operation:

1 x Dayshift
1 x Nightshift

What you’ll be doing

As a Transport Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our transport operation running safely, efficiently, and on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

Briefing and debriefing drivers at the start and end of shifts
Acting as the first point of contact for driver queries and live operational issues
Monitoring routes and vehicle movements throughout the shift
Escalating delays or issues to the Team Manager where required
Supporting operational excellence across service, cost, and peak planning
Ensuring legal compliance in line with O-Licence requirements
Managing payroll administration, holidays, and Kronos exceptions
Delivering excellent customer service and quick resolutions to operational challenges

No two shifts are the same, so you’ll need to be organised, proactive, and confident making decisions in a fast-moving environment.

Shift Pattern

We currently have:

1 x Dayshift: 07:00 – 19:00
1 x Nightshift: 19:00 – 07:00
4 on 4 off rotation

Ideally, you’ll have:

Experience working within a busy transport or logistics environment
Strong administration and organisational skills
Good PC skills including Word and Excel
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
