About us

DES Renewable Energy is a busy, growing solar PV and renewables installer based in Dorset. We design and install systems for both homeowners and commercial clients across the region, and we pride ourselves on doing things properly - quality work, clear communication, and looking after our customers from first enquiry to handover.

We're looking for a well-organised, personable Office Administrator to keep our day-to-day running smoothly and be the friendly voice customers and engineers rely on.

What you'll be doing

Booking and scheduling jobs - coordinating engineer diaries, site surveys, and installations
Speaking with customers daily - answering enquiries, providing updates, and making sure every job goes off without a hitch
Liaising with our engineers - keeping them informed, sorting out logistics, and being their point of contact back at the office
Keeping our systems up to date - logging jobs, updating records, and managing paperwork
General office admin - supporting the wider team and helping things tick along behind the scenes

What we're looking for

Strong organisational skills and a knack for juggling several things at once
A warm, confident phone manner - you genuinely enjoy talking to people
Comfortable with computers and software (we use Monday.com, Workever, and Microsoft 365 - training provided)
Reliable, proactive, and happy to use your initiative
Previous admin, scheduling, or customer service experience is a real plus
Any background in construction, trades, or renewables is welcome but not essential
