Job Overview
The Connaught Hotel and Spa are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Night Porter to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for our guests. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to guest services, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance, and all public areas.
Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation options.
Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes when required.
Ensure that all guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
Monitor the condition of the hotel premises and report any maintenance issues to management.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience.
Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when responding to guest enquiries.
Provide food and drinks to guests during your shift as required and charge to guest rooms.
Patrol the hotel regularly for security purposes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for visitors.
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
