Overview
Due to expansion, we are seeking two motivated and compassionate Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. This entry-level position offers valuable hands-on experience in patient care and dental procedures, providing a solid foundation for a career in dental nursing. The role is ideal for individuals interested in developing their skills within a supportive environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. Responsibilities

Assisting the dental team during patient appointments, ensuring smooth and efficient procedures
Preparing treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment
Providing excellent patient care by offering reassurance and support throughout treatments
Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining organisational standards
Supporting with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling patient enquiries
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols
Developing knowledge of dental procedures, materials, and equipment under supervision
Communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures and answer general questions

Experience

No prior experience required; full training will be provided to develop essential skills
Good command of English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and team members
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointment scheduling
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills to provide compassionate patient care and work collaboratively with colleagues
