Full job description

We are open to applicants looking for a permanent position or someone looking for summer temporary work.

We are looking for a chef to join the Sabroso Street brand on a part-time basis, working 20-25 hours a week.

Sabroso Street is a family-run business specialising in Mexican street food. We prepare and cook all our dishes from scratch so our customers get the freshest produce direct to their plate. The candidate would primarily be working at Horsforth Sports Club but will also have the opportunity to go out in our catering trailer at festivals, corporate events and weddings.

Key Responsibilities of our chefs/catering assistants are:

Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu in order to provide an excellent service
Prepare and deliver high quality food following our menu specifications
A desire to achieve excellent results every time - taking pride in their work.
Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures

Required skills:

Ability to organise time and prioritise activities
Attention to detail
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well within a team, as well as individually
Level 2 Food hygiene training is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided to the successful candidate

28 days holiday pro rata'd
