Full job description

Experienced General Builder / Working Foreman (With Progression Opportunity)

We are looking for a hard-working and reliable individual to join our growing team . Our projects are primarily for domestic clients and include extensions, loft conversions, and refurbishments throughout the Letchworth, Hitchin and Baldock area.

The successful applicant will be able to work well as part of a team and have the confidence to coordinate and oversee a small team of tradespeople. This role offers a clear progression path to a Working Foreman position for the right candidate.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence (essential)
Ability to travel to jobs in and around the Letchworth, Hitchin and Baldock area.
Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry. (essential)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and organisational skills
Experience coordinating multiple trades is desirable

Responsibilities

Carry out a range of construction tasks, including:
Basic carpentry
Groundworks
Landscaping
General building work
Ensure work is completed to a high standard
Coordinate with and assist other trades on site
Help maintain a safe and organised working environment
