Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Top Video Editor to join our dynamic media team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand identity and engages our audience. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to showcase their editing expertise and contribute to innovative multimedia projects. The successful applicant will possess a strong eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling video content using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro
Incorporate visual effects, colour grading, and motion graphics using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator
Collaborate with creative teams to understand project objectives and deliver videos that meet specified requirements
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
Enhance video quality through colour correction, sound editing, and optimisation for various platforms
Maintain organised project files and assets for easy retrieval and future use
Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, visual effects, and multimedia production techniques

Skills

Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects
Experience with Final Cut Pro is highly desirable
Knowledge of photography principles to enhance visual storytelling
Strong understanding of colour grading, sound editing, and visual effects integration
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
Creative flair combined with attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence when required
