What will you do? Make an impact!

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager managing a regional portfolio of SME industrial accounts (up to £500k revenue) under single-source agreements for hazardous waste services. Responsible for driving profitable growth, delivering an outstanding customer experience, and building strong, long-term partnerships across key manufacturing sectors including petrochemical, pharmaceutical, chemical, and metals. Combines strong commercial acumen with in-depth knowledge of the hazardous waste market to develop tailored, solution-led and sustainable waste management strategies. Skilled in coordinating internal resources and infrastructure to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations, while identifying new opportunities for account expansion. A proactive contributor to wider business strategy, bringing market insight and customer understanding to shape service propositions and support continued growth. This role will cover the South West of England & Wales based aroung the Newport area.

Key responsibilities:

Delivering and exceeding sales targets across a defined portfolio of industrial customers in key markets
Developing tailored hazardous waste solutions that meet commercial and environmental needs, creating mutual value
Applying knowledge of sustainability, circularity, and emerging technologies to influence customers and stakeholders
Driving high levels of customer satisfaction and advocacy through direct engagement and collaboration with internal teams
Identifying and converting new opportunities to generate incremental sales across Tradebe’s infrastructure
Creating and executing account plans to grow customer relationships and committed volumes
Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of industrial prospects to support ongoing sales growth
Managing pipeline and sales forecasts using CRM systems

You’ll bring commercial awareness, industry insight, and the ability to build trusted relationships, alongside a genuine interest in sustainability and environmental solutions. Strong knowledge of hazardous waste markets and environmental solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience using CRM systems for pipeline and account management
