Food Van Assistant – Hailsham Area
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Food Van Assistant to join our team based near Hailsham.
The role is primarily based at a permanent pitch, with occasional attendance at local events and functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and serving hot and cold food and drinks
- Providing excellent customer service
- Handling payments and operating the till
- Maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Assisting with stock and daily setup/pack down
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
- Previous catering or food service experience preferred but not essential
This is a fast-paced and varied role with a mixture of regular site work and occasional event catering.
