Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in hairstyling, customer service, and communication, ensuring that every client leaves feeling their best. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity while providing a range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling. Your role will also involve mentoring junior stylists and contributing to a positive salon environment.

Duties

Provide high-quality hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
Deliver excellent customer service by actively listening to clients' preferences and offering professional advice.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales targets.
Assist with front desk duties such as booking appointments, managing schedules, and handling client inquiries.
Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their professional development.
Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
Proficient in various hairstyling techniques, including barbering skills.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Experience in store management is an advantage but not essential.
Ability to upsell products and services confidently.
Strong mentoring skills to guide less experienced team members.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in hairdressing are required.
