At Just Tyres, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service, expert advice and high-quality tyre and automotive care. We are now looking for a motivated, hands-on Centre Manager to lead our busy Lewes branch.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced automotive professional or strong fast-fit leader who thrives in a customer-focused environment and is passionate about developing teams, driving performance and delivering operational excellence.
The Role
As Centre Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the centre and surrounding centres, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong commercial performance and a safe, productive workshop environment.
You’ll lead from the front by motivating your team, supporting customers, managing operational performance and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the Centre to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of tyre technicians and support staff
- Deliver excellent customer service and build strong local customer relationships
- Drive sales, profitability and centre performance against targets and KPIs
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, housekeeping and compliance
- Oversee stock control, scheduling and operational efficiency
- Support customers with technical advice on tyres, wheel alignment, brakes and related services
- Ensure work is completed to the highest technical and safety standards
- Resolve customer queries professionally and effectively
About You
We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded leader with:
- Previous management or supervisory experience in the automotive, tyre, fast-fit or motor trade sector
- Strong mechanical or tyre industry knowledge
- A passion for customer service and team development
- Commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales and performance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong leadership ability
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
