Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hairdressing Assistant to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hairdressing industry, supporting stylists and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hairdressing, with a keen eye for detail and a friendly, professional demeanour. This position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to grow their career in a vibrant environment.

Responsibilities

Assisting stylists with colouring, cutting, and styling hair to ensure smooth salon operations
Preparing clients for treatments by washing hair, applying colour, or setting up tools and products
Managing front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling enquiries
Providing excellent customer service to ensure clients feel welcomed and valued
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the salon space, including sterilising tools and restocking supplies

Skills

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
previous salon experience is advantageous
Customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach
Upselling skills to promote products and additional services confidently
Organised with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
